We always make time from our busy schedule to clean the mess in our home but do you really clean where your health and soul reside? When we get an unhealthy buildup of toxins in our body will cause physical and mental health issues like chronic fatigue, headaches, insomnia and diseases. Everybody must know the importance of detoxified the body and soul.

What is Detoxifying?

Detoxification means cleansing the blood. The liver processes toxins for elimination and impurities are removed from the blood. Toxins are also eliminated by the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system and the skin. The foods in the latest fads will not flush your system. It is your liver, kidneys and other organs that do the work, not the food itself. The word “detox” is typically associated with the physical body, and also with the negative—i.e. foods to cut out of your diet. You’ll want to revitalize your overall well-being and detoxify your body and mind. Detoxifying soul means to clear your mind, boosts energy, increases mental clarity and has skin glowing. It’s important to know and understand how it works in order to healthily detox your body.

How Our Body Naturally Remove Toxins?

Digestive System- first component is detoxification starts in your liver. The digestive system processes our food; ideally storing the nutrients needed while shedding waste and toxins.

Circulatory System- Second component is circulatory system. This pumps blood from the heart throughout the body delivering oxygen to the cells and removing waste from the cells.

Lymphatic System- the last component is lymphatic system. The lymphatic fluid works to carry the harmful substance to the lymph nodes where the bacteria can be removed before returning to the bloodstream. There is no pump in the lymph flow and it relies on exercise or massage to allow them to function optimally.

How to detoxify your body?

Change up your morning routine

Get out of the bed on time is the first step to give your body an extra care. The two hours after we awake are potentially the most productive of our entire day. Your early morning hours tend to be the most productive time of day because you get uninterrupted time to yourself. You can accomplish any task faster when you don’t face distractions. Waking up early gives you time to make a healthy breakfast. Also it gives you the leisure to plan your day ahead.

The skin is the single largest organ in your body and it is one of the primary sources of toxin elimination. Indulging in physical activities, sports and exercise is a great way to sweat it. You can also try other methods of sweating like sauna, and steam baths. You can eliminate about 20% of toxins from your body through skin by sweating it out.

Yoga brings everything back to the breath, deeply oxygenating while stretching your body. It can make you feel more connected, present and ready to take on whatever life throws at you.

Learn to meditate - but take it slow and go easy on yourself. While it's not an easy skill, if you stick with it you'll be rewarded with sharper focus and lower stress levels.

Drink plenty of water

One of the best and the easiest ways to eliminate toxin from the body is to drink plenty of water through the day. Water is not just necessary for survival but also is important for removing the unwanted substances from your body, which occupy a significant space in your body. For effective toxin cleanse, doctors recommend drinking at least 4 to 5 liters of water every day.

Apart from eliminating the impurities in the body, water also promotes weight loss and helps the skin maintain its natural elasticity and sheen. For better results, you can use mint leaves, lemon wedges or orange segments in your water.

Eat healthy food

You can't properly feed your mind and soul if you're not properly feeding your body.  If you are looking to detoxify your body then it’s extremely essential to lighten the burden which you have been putting on it time and again. Take a few minutes and examine your diet: If it's full of processed junk and minimal fruit and vegetables, try to start incorporating colorful, wholesome options into your weekly routine. Just after having this detox drink, it is absolutely important to have a proper breakfast. For better breakfast option try healthy soups or smoothies which keep you full and restrict the cravings. An oat meal with some almonds or smoothies would be a good way to start your detox weeks. For whole day you can opt for organic fruits and veggies rather than consuming fast foods and processed foods. Reduce the consumption of oil, salt and sugar to minimum.  Even grabbing an apple or banana for breakfast over a sugary bar will make you feel better physically and emotionally.

Lesser intake of sugar

Reduce sugar in your diet. Instead of sugar you can have honey, molasses, and artificial sweeteners.  You can swap in a healthier alternative, rather than routinely reaching for a doughnut, cookie, or cupcake. Another option is to grab a piece of fruit; the natural sugars will nip the need for sweetness and curb your craving.

Take enough sleep

For starting first step (wake up early) you need to take go to bed early. You have to take 8 to 9 hours sleep daily. Research has shown that your brain undergoes a natural detoxifying process in the wee hours of the night, removing harmful byproducts—like the amyloid plaques that cause Alzheimer’s—produced during a normal day of neurotransmission. But that process is only completed when you get the full seven hours of rest. Consider a sleep reboot where you eliminate caffeine and alcohol, have a regular bedtime, avoid late meals, and ban TV, computer, and smartphone screens for at least two hours before bedtime.
